Job summary

AFL is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence & Data Analyst to join our team. This role supports AFL’s Key Business Units, designing, developing, and maintaining data reporting solutions and partnering with engineers and analysts. Remote work from anywhere in the United States is possible.

The ideal candidate will deeply understand data warehousing, BI tooling, and Agile development, translating business needs into actionable reports and dashboards for management and operations.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required; STEM or business background supported.
• 7–10 years of in-depth data analysis experience.
• Strong SQL knowledge with data validations and performance tuning.
• Experience with ETL processes and best practices.
• Power BI experience required; SSRS a plus.
• Manufacturing industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-hand support to business units for adhoc data and reporting requests.
• Develop and deploy reports and dashboards in SSRS and Power BI.
• Collaborate with solution architects and analysts to convert operations into data requirements.
• Contribute to data source design and overall data quality planning.
• Communicate technical concepts in business terms to stakeholders.
• Follow Agile methodologies in development activities.
