Job summary

Truelogic is seeking a Senior Back-end Engineer to own the backend platform, from client-facing API schemas to AWS server and database infrastructure. You will enhance the core PHP/Laravel API, maintain internal Python services, and manage cloud infrastructure.

The team builds with AI coding agents daily, hence demonstrated experience shipping software and designing workflows with AI tools is a requirement for this position.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building and scaling backend systems in production.
• Deep PHP (Laravel) and Python experience.
• Hands-on AI tooling for coding agents (Claude/Code/Codex).
• Experience with event-driven architectures using AWS SQS.
• Production containers: ECS, Docker, CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Own backend platform end-to-end: API schemas, AWS servers, DB infrastructure.
• Integrate AI-powered solutions into core products and workflows.
• Contribute to architecture and break down features.
• Design PHP/Laravel APIs using OpenAPI, domain-driven design.
• Build Python microservices and AWS Lambda functions.
• Maintain production AWS infrastructure with Terraform.
