Michael Page is seeking a senior Java backend engineer for a fully remote role aligned to East Coast hours. You’ll define engineering standards, modernize legacy code, and own reliability and performance with a focus on customer experience.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree, 5–10+ years in Java development, ecommerce experience, hands-on microservices with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and strong collaboration and communication across teams.

• Must be highly proficient in Java and have worked with at least one additional backend and one frontend language.

• Strong knowledge of microservices architecture is important.
• Experience with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS is required.
• Excellent communication skills are essential, as collaboration is a key part of the role.

Salary: $65,000 - 105,000 per year
