Job summary

Xoriant is seeking an accomplished senior software engineer to join our Wealth Management Engineering team in Denver. The role focuses on building and supporting enterprise-grade web applications, RESTful APIs, and shared libraries across multiple applications.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of full-stack experience with Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Angular, and TDD, plus strong cloud and database skills.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent is required.
• 8+ years of hands-on full-stack software development experience.
• Proven RESTful API development with Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented principles and design patterns.
• Proficiency building SPAs with Angular, HTML, TypeScript, and CSS.
• Experience with TDD and automated tests.
• Experience with CI/CD and GitHub Actions.
• Relational databases: PostgreSQL, MSSQL, Oracle.
• Cloud-native apps on AWS/GCP/Azure/PCF.

Responsibilities

• Follow the technical lead to implement stories delivering SPAs, RESTful APIs, and shared libraries for data quality, observability, and data transformation across Wealth Management applications.
• Design, develop, test, and support software solutions.
• Apply software development best practices as a development partner to scrum team members.
• Build the services and features required for assigned stories.
• Proactively detect, troubleshoot, and remediate production issues.
• Communicate clearly during investigations and outages.
• Work with development teams to ensure production standards and support strategies are followed.
• Keep knowledge repository current and accessible.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• 8+ years of hands-on full-stack software development experience
• Strong experience developing RESTful APIs with Java, Spring Boot, and Hibernate
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented principles and design patterns
• Proficiency building single-page applications with Angular, HTML, TypeScript, and CSS
• Experience developing applications using TDD practices, including unit and behavior/feature testing
• Experience writing unit, integration, and automation tests
• Skills in application performance evaluation and tuning
• Experience with responsive web design and building accessible web applications in accordance with WCAG 2.1 guidelines
• Understanding of Agile software development principles and experience participating in a Scrum-based delivery team
• Experience with continuous integration and delivery tools such as GitHub and GitActions
• Relational database experience with MSSQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle
• Understanding of cloud-native enterprise applications deployed in PCF, AWS, GCP, or Azure
