Qualifications

• 3+ years of backend development experience.
• Proficient in Rust or C/C++ with Python.
• Strong knowledge of UNIX-style systems.
• Experience with performance tuning and distributed services.

Responsibilities

• Improve Deepgram’s core inference services including networking, speech processing, and latency/memory optimization.
• Develop processes for measuring and optimizing service performance.
• Debug complex system issues across networking, scheduling, and HPC interactions.
• Rapidly customize backend services to support customer needs.
• Partner with Product to design and implement new services end-to-end.
