Eliassen Group is partnering with a federal-focused client to hire a Sr. Cloud Engineer (Azure) for remote, full-time work designing, deploying, securing, and optimizing enterprise Azure infrastructure.

The role emphasizes scalable cloud solutions, automation, and DevOps practices within strict FedRAMP, NIST, and DoD frameworks. The candidate must have an active Secret clearance and 3+ years of hands-on Azure engineering, IaC with Terraform, and CI/CD experience, plus strong scripting and

Qualificações

• Active Secret Security Clearance required.
• 5+ years in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, Systems Administration, or related fields.
• 3+ years of hands-on Microsoft Azure engineering experience.
• 3+ years with Infrastructure as Code and Terraform.
• 3+ years building and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• 4+ years of PowerShell scripting.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, GitLab, Jenkins, GitHub, and Ansible.
• Strong understanding ofAzure networking services and security/compliance.

Responsabilidades

• Design, deploy, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure and services.
• Manage Azure VM, VNets, Azure SQL Database, Blob Storage, and AD.
• Support hybrid-cloud infrastructure modernization and optimization.
• Automate provisioning with Terraform, ARM Templates, and Ansible.
• Develop automation using PowerShell, Python, and Bash.
• Build reusable templates and deployment frameworks.
• Create CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps, GitLab, and Jenkins.
• Implement security best practices including RBAC and Defender for Cloud.
• Ensure FedRAMP, NIST, and DoD compliance; monitor and remediate vulnerabilities.
• Monitor using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
• Troubleshoot issues and optimize performance; manage Azure networking (VNets, DNS, VPN, ExpressRoute).
• Support hybrid-cloud integrations with Azure Migrate, Azure Arc, and Site Recovery.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Security, Engineering, and Government stakeholders.
