Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a senior Azure AI Solutions Architect/Engineer to lead enterprise Generative AI initiatives for a federal client. You will design, build, and deploy AI capabilities across document intelligence, search, and data extraction while ensuring secure integration with existing systems.

You will mentor teams, establish AI development patterns, and drive production readiness using Azure AI Foundry, OpenAI services, and related technologies in a fully remote setup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field with 12+ years experience or commensurate experience.
• Public Trust clearance required.
• Extensive hands-on engineering and architecture experience in enterprise AI.
• Experience designing and delivering Generative AI, LLM, and RAG solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, development, and implementation of enterprise AI solutions on Azure.
• Integrate Azure AI services with existing applications, data repositories, and APIs.
• Mentor architects and developers on Azure AI, RAG, and responsible AI practices.
• Establish reusable patterns, testing frameworks, and production readiness for AI capabilities.
