Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (AWS/TypeScript) to design and build enterprise-grade microservices and modern web applications that power scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions for our clients. You will work with Product Owners, Business Analysts, QA teams, and Architects.

This remote US role may require in-person interviews at Cognizant offices or client sites. The position is not eligible for visa transfer or sponsorship now or at any time in the future.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience developing applications with TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying solutions on AWS.
• Strong experience with SQL/PLSQL for data access and database programming.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise-grade microservices using Java and Spring Boot, and build web applications with TypeScript, AWS, and SQL/PLSQL.
• Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with internal and external systems.
• Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical design decisions.
• Ensure application scalability, security, performance, and maintainability, writing tests.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and support DevOps activities.
