Job summary

randombit is seeking a Senior AWS Solution Architect to lead development teams building cloud-native solutions on AWS. You will prototype architectures, demonstrate component interoperability, and establish adoption patterns across the team.

The role requires deep AWS expertise, strong coding skills in Python/JavaScript, and the ability to guide best practices while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Remote-friendly, with EST hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required.
• Proficiency with OO design principles and software design patterns.
• Experience with Python and/or JavaScript; Python preferred.
• Strong AWS experience with multiple services listed (Glue, Lambda, S3, etc.).
• Ability to explain design decisions and trade-offs clearly.

Responsibilities

• Design and engineer 100% AWS cloud-native application components.
• Develop solution prototypes to demonstrate suitability and interoperability of components.
• Write high-quality, efficient code in Python and JavaScript without guidance.
• Provide ongoing guidance and coaching to development teams.
• Provide AWS cloud-native subject-matter expertise to developers.
• Conduct code reviews and share feedback on patterns.
• Capture implementation patterns into development standards and architecture best practices.
