Job summary

Random Bit is seeking a Senior AWS Solution Architect to lead design and development of cloud-native solutions on AWS. You will guide development teams, prototype solutions, and establish patterns for adoption across projects.

The role requires deep AWS expertise, strong coding in Python/JavaScript, and experience with containers, CI/CD, and security practices involving PHI/PII. You will review architectures, mentor engineers, and ensure scalable, compliant cloud applications.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in design, development and implementation of cloud application components.
• Background in large-system application development; NOT focused on cloud infrastructure or DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Design and engineer 100% AWS cloud-native application components.
• Develop solution prototypes to demonstrate suitability and interoperability of chosen components, and to establish patterns for adoption by development team members.
• In the context of solution prototypes, write high-quality, efficient code in Python and JavaScript without guidance.
• Provide ongoing guidance and coaching to development team members.
• Provide AWS cloud-native subject-matter expertise to developers.
• Conduct code reviews and feedback on implementation patterns.
• Capture implementation patterns into development standards and architecture best practices.
