Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc. (SGA) is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer for a contract opportunity with a premier client in Boston, MA. The role emphasizes end-to-end automation design, AI integration, and production stability.

You will own automation projects across RPA and AI, partner with Product and business units, and contribute to scalable, compliant automation solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• UiPath production-level RPA design and delivery; UiPath certifications preferred.
• Strong front-end: React 18+, TypeScript, REST/API integration.
• Experience with OpenAI/Azure OpenAI, LLMs, RAG pipelines and function calling.
• SAFe agile delivery, PI planning, Jira proficiency.
• Production operations: monitoring, incident triage, root-cause analysis.
• Architectural judgment for RPA and AI integrations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, develop, and deploy end-to-end automation with business value.
• Own production automation stability, monitor and resolve incidents.
• Evaluate automation requests and AI capabilities to choose RPA/AI/hybrid.
• Build and maintain React front-ends surface outputs and dashboards.
• Integrate LLM APIs and AI-native patterns into tooling.
• Collaborate with Product Owner in PI planning and sprints.
• Partner with business units to gather requirements and design workflows.
• Document architecture and process flows with Arc42.
• Mentor junior engineers and set code quality standards.
• Support evaluation/adoption of UiPath Autopilot and Snowflake pipelines.
• Act as liaison with Intelligent Automation teams enterprise-wide.
