Job summary

North American Partners in Anesthesia is seeking a Senior Auditor, Revenue Optimization, to provide day-to-day leadership for the Revenue Optimization Audit team. You will act as SME for audit processes, coding guidance, and workflow requirements while supporting the Manager with operations and compliance.

The role emphasizes auditing anesthesia services, data analysis, and coaching peers in a high performing, remote-capable environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current CPC or CCS certification, plus CPMA, CANPC, or equivalent auditing certification.
• Minimum 5 years of professional medical coding, auditing, revenue integrity, or revenue cycle experience.
• Advanced knowledge of anesthesia coding, billing, documentation, and reimbursement requirements.
• Strong ability to interpret CPT, ICD-10-CM, HCPCS, payer requirements, CMS guidance, and related regulations.
• Ability to lead audits, provide guidance, and coach peers in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day functional leadership and SME guidance on audit processes.
• Perform complex revenue optimization audits including coding, billing, and documentation reviews.
• Conduct quality assurance reviews of auditor work and provide actionable feedback.
• Develop, review, and present audit results and recommendations to management.
• Utilize data analytics to identify patterns, trends, and revenue integrity opportunities.
• Coach and onboard new auditors, support training and onboarding programs.
• Lead process improvement initiatives and coordinate workload across the team.
• Escalate significant operational or compliance concerns to the Manager.
