Job summary

AAPC Services is seeking a Remote Multi-Specialty Auditor to join our contract team. You will audit medical records across multiple specialties to validate documentation and coding accuracy, ensuring compliance with AMA, OIG, CMS guidelines and client-specific requirements.

The role requires at least 5 years of auditing experience, strong communication, ability to own projects, and proficiency in Excel. Remote work-from-home option is available with opportunities for professional growth and

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of auditing experience across multiple specialties.
• Strong knowledge of AMA, OIG, CMS guidelines and payer rules.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to own and manage an entire audit project.

Responsibilities

• Audit medical records across specialties to validate documentation and coding accuracy.
• Research regulatory guidelines and ensure client-specific requirements are met.
• Prepare audit summaries with detailed findings and actionable recommendations.
• Maintain production standards and meet quality metrics of 95%+.
• Support department KPIs and continuous process improvements.
