Job summary

University of California, Davis is seeking an experienced internal auditor to perform audits, advisory projects, and investigations across the campus and Health System. You will assess risks, design work programs, prepare work papers, and communicate findings to management while developing actionable recommendations.

Under supervision, you will draft reports, promote internal controls, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in internal auditing, accounting, compliance, law, healthcare administration, research administration, information systems, and/or information security.
• Experience planning and executing projects.
• Experience assessing risk at intersections of technical subjects and business processes.
• Experience writing, presenting, and defending reports.
• Experience solving problems with existing resources.
• Strong oral and written communication with management.

Responsibilities

• Performs Audit and Advisory Services across UC Davis and UC Davis Health.
• Contributes to enterprise risk assessment and audit planning.
• Provides training and administrative support.
