Job summary

HealthEdge in the United States is seeking a Lead Atlassian Platform Architect to design and stand up our Atlassian Cloud foundation. This greenfield build will consolidate multiple Jira instances and establish governance and data boundaries.

You will own architecture, migration sequencing, and the AI layer integration with Rovo, Atlassian Intelligence, and Claude, while guiding teams across the US, India, and Mexico.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in the Atlassian ecosystem with architecture or platform design experience.
• Led Cloud-to-Cloud Jira Software Cloud migrations at scale.
• Built configuration standards with governance that teams actually follow.
• Experience in regulated environments such as healthcare or financial services.

Responsibilities

• Design the target-state Atlassian architecture for Jira Software Cloud and related services.
• Lead the migration program across multiple source instances, planning discovery, assessment, and wave sequencing.
• Establish and enforce configuration standards, change control, and governance with clear authority.
• Decide when to use native features, marketplace apps, Forge/Connect, or custom development.
• Own Atlassian Access, including SSO, SCIM, authentication policy, and data residency for audits.
• Define and integrate AI capabilities (Rovo, Atlassian Intelligence, Claude) for knowledge management and automation.
• Mentor architects and admin teams across the US, India, and Mexico; create reference architectures and automation libraries.
