Job summary

HealthEdge Software, Inc. is seeking a Lead Atlassian Platform Architect to design and stand up our new Atlassian Cloud foundation, own the architecture, and drive the migration of Jira, Confluence and JSM across multiple instances.

The role requires 8+ years in the Atlassian ecosystem, strong leadership across time zones, and hands-on experience with regulated data, AI-enabled tooling, and platform-wide standards. Remote-US work is supported.

Qualifications

8+ years in the Atlassian ecosystem, with 3+ in architecture or platform design.
Experience standing up enterprise Jira Software Cloud environments.
Knowledge of regulated data, governance, and migration strategies.
Strong leadership of cross-functional teams across multiple time zones.

Responsibilities

Design the target-state Atlassian architecture and governance.
Lead the migration program across multiple source instances.
Build the governance model with configuration standards and change control.
Decide when native capability, marketplace apps, Forge/Connect, or custom development is appropriate.
Architect for regulated data including Atlassian Access, SSO, SCIM, IP allowlisting.
Own the AI layer on the platform with Rovo, Atlassian Intelligence and Claude.
Set the technical bar and mentor others across US, India, and Mexico; create reference architectures and automation libraries.
