Clutch Creative is seeking experienced Pharmaceutical Agency Art Directors for upcoming freelance needs. This role is remote within the United States and requires availability during regular working hours.

As an Art Director, you will lead creative for pharmaceutical brands, mentor a team, ensure FDA compliance, and collaborate with copywriters and accounts to present solutions. Ideal candidates have a strong portfolio across digital, print, and video, and are proficient in Figma.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Art Supervisor or Senior Art Director in pharma/healthcare ad agency.
• Strong portfolio across digital, video, and print.
• Advanced knowledge of web usability and digital design principles.
• Proficiency in Figma.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the creation of visual communications for pharmaceutical brands.
• Origin concepts and transform into designs across platforms.
• Hands-on design with strong layout, typography, color.
• Mentor and oversee a team of art directors and designers.
• Collaborate with copywriters, accounts, and cross-functional teams.
• Ensure compliance with FDA regulations and pharmaceutical ad rules.
• Manage projects from brief to final delivery on schedule and budget.
