Job summary

Henry Schein One is seeking an experienced Senior Security Engineer to lead the strategy, development, and maintenance of secure software across R&D, QA, support, and IT systems.

You will apply threat modeling, secure coding, and AI/LLM security practices to protect products and data, mentor engineers, and collaborate with product teams to embed security into the SDLC. This remote role travels up to 10% as needed.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant Information Security and/or Software Engineering experience.
• Fluency with AI/LLM-specific security risks and evaluating AI-powered features.
• Excellent knowledge of secure application programming and design.
• Advanced knowledge of operating systems and hosting environments.

Responsibilities

• Advise and participate in the design of secure products and architectures.
• Perform security reviews, code reviews, and testing.
• Collaborate with engineering to implement security-related systems and secure coding.
• Monitor software usage and conduct forensics to verify security standards.
• Mentor security engineers and lead technical decisions.
