Henry Schein One, LLC is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to lead and maintain the application security program across development, QA, and IT systems. This role combines high-level strategy with hands-on security work in a fully remote US setting, with travel up to 10% as needed.

You will advise on secure product design, perform architecture reviews, and collaborate with engineering to implement security controls and threat modeling.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of information security or software engineering experience.
• Familiarity with AI/LLM security risks and responsible AI practices.
• Knowledge of secure application programming and secure coding lifecycle.
• Understanding security principles across multiple OS and hosting environments.
• Ability to conduct threat assessments and risk-based security processes.
• Ability to communicate security objectives to varied audiences.
• Experience with reverse engineering techniques and tools.
• Familiarity with data storage formats and languages used in product security.

Responsibilities

• Advise and participate in the design of secure products and architectures
• Perform architecture security reviews, secure code reviews, and security testing
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to implement security systems and verify threat models and risk posture
• Monitor software usage and perform forensics to ensure security standards
• Stay updated on web and client security developments and best practices
• Present security concepts to senior management clearly
• Attend meetings for seamless SDLC delivery
• Leverage AI/ML tools to enhance security testing and code review workflows
