Job summary

INSPYR Solutions is seeking a Sr. Security Engineer (Application Security) for a remote US-based role.

You will work closely with engineering teams to implement security initiatives, conduct design reviews, and provide hands-on guidance on application security across platforms. You will contribute to threat modeling, security controls, and automated testing frameworks while ensuring scalable security solutions for a major entertainment platform serving millions of users.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in information security.
• Strong understanding of modern security practices including ShiftLeft and Zero-Trust.
• Solid background in application security, cloud security, and secure software development practices.
• Experience with security testing and vulnerability assessment.
• Good communication skills; ability to explain security concepts to technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Implement established security architecture patterns in assigned areas.
• Lead threat modeling sessions and apply threat modeling techniques.
• Provide technical guidance on secure development practices and security reviews.
• Develop reusable security components and maintain automated security testing frameworks.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate security into software delivery.
