Job summary

Boomi is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to lead API governance and digital ecosystem initiatives in North America. You will architect secure, scalable APIs and guide enterprise clients toward a unified data ecosystem, bridging ETL, MDM, and API consumption.

In this strategic role, you partner with executives to articulate ROI, supervise security policy enforcement, and drive developer portal adoption across the client ecosystem—delivering measurable business value and ecosystem growth.

Qualifications

Extensive experience in API lifecycle management and API gateway deployment.
Deep security and governance knowledge for enterprise-scale environments.
Proven ability to design solutions with microservices, service mesh and event-driven architecture.
Experience selling technically and aligning stakeholders to business value.
Strong communication skills for executive audiences and cross-functional teams.
Understanding of data lifecycle, ETL/ELT patterns, and data stewardship.

Responsibilities

Lead API strategy design from design to security policy enforcement.
Advise executives on ROI of an API-first approach with security and scalability.
Architect secure, high-performance API gateways across complex systems.
Develop developer portals to enable internal and external API use.
Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver PoCs and respond to RFIs/RFPs.
Demonstrate cross-product value between API management, iPaaS, and MDM.
