BitPay is seeking a Senior AML Analyst (Transaction Monitoring) to join our Compliance and Risk team in the United States. The role focuses on transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, and supporting regulatory interactions, helping protect the company from financial crime.

You will analyze complex AML cases, draft SARs/CARs, and collaborate with leadership and external partners to enhance policies and controls in a fast-paced crypto environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of AML compliance experience.
• Strong understanding of AML laws, sanctions, and monitoring practices.
• Experience in the cryptocurrency industry.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and review financial transactions to identify suspicious, fraudulent, or unusual activity.
• Conduct sanctions screening and escalate potential matches for investigation and resolution.
• Investigate alerts related to money laundering, fraud, and sanctions risk typologies and improve platforms and alerting systems.
