Job summary

Zillow Group Inc. is seeking a Senior AI-Native Product Engineer for the Mercury Mobile team to shape how AI participates in ZIM conversations on iOS and Android, using Swift, Kotlin, SwiftUI and Jetpack Compose.

You will own the architecture, build real-time experiences over variable networks, and collaborate with AI, Web and Backend teams while mentoring engineers to raise testing velocity.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building native mobile apps at consumer scale.
• Experience on iOS and Android or strong cross-platform delivery.
• Fluent in Swift and Kotlin; comfortable with SwiftUI and Jetpack Compose.
• Experience with real-time or streaming data in apps.
• Experience integrating GraphQL clients and caching.

Responsibilities

• Define and ship mobile client architecture for AI in conversations across iOS and Android.
• Own cross-platform architectural decisions for the ZIM messaging core.
• Build real-time messaging experiences that endure spotty networks with observability.
• Collaborate with AI, Web, and Backend teams shaping Zillow's conversational AI roadmap.
• Mentor engineers and raise testing and delivery velocity.
