Job summary

Slate Automotive is building an AI-native vehicle platform and seeks an engineer to develop real AI/ML features in production. You’ll own end-to-end features, work with GenAI systems, data pipelines, and apply AI to manufacturing and supply chain operations.

We value hands-on contributors who learn fast, collaborate across teams, and can translate needs into reliable AI solutions for physical systems.

Qualifications

• BS required with strong ML foundation and project experience.
• MS/PhD preferred for early-career candidates with depth.
• Hands-on experience building production ML systems.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship end-to-end AI/ML features across the lifecycle.
• Contribute to GenAI systems, including RAG pipelines and prompts.
• Develop data and evaluation infrastructure for reliable results.
• Address manufacturing, supply chain, and operations AI challenges.
