Qualifications

• 7+ years building and operating production backend systems using Python.
• Experience running distributed systems in the cloud with telemetry tracing.
• Hands-on with LLMs or generative AI in production contexts.
• Fluency across the traditional ML lifecycle and model deployment.
• Careful handling of sensitive data in regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Ship and debug code on a live, real-time voice pipeline with strict latency requirements.
• Design control systems around LLMs, including budgets, guardrails, and safe fallbacks.
• Build and operate LLM evaluation and batch-analysis pipelines.
• Own traditional ML workflows from data preparation to scheduled production inference.
• Trace production issues from metrics to root cause, including vendor-related causes.
