Job summary

G2i Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, AI Training to evaluate how modern coding agents behave in real-world scenarios. This is not a traditional development role; you will assess the quality of AI-generated interactions, focusing on usefulness, reasoning, and engineering judgment.

You will provide clear, opinionated feedback, writing detailed notes and short video explanations. The role is remote worldwide, part-time, with flexible start and ongoing project-based work.

Qualifications

• Senior, Staff or Principal-level engineer (or equivalent experience).
• Hands-on experience with at least one of OpenAI Codex, Claude Code or Cursor.
• Strong written and spoken English (B2 or above). You will write feedback and explanations.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated coding interactions end to end.
• Judge usefulness, high-level correctness and engineering judgment.
• Assess explanations and reasoning, not just code.
• Distinguish between levels of response quality (2 vs 4).
• Provide clear, opinionated written feedback and Loom video explanations.
