Job summary

Cognizant is hiring a Senior AI Architect to define end-to-end Agentic AI architectures leveraging LLMs, multi-agent systems, and orchestration layers. You will design autonomous AI agents with planning, reasoning, memory management, and tool usage.

Role involves establishing cloud-native, scalable architectures and integrating AI agents with enterprise systems. Remote-friendly in the United States with travel as needed. Strong Azure experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in AI/ML and GenAI incl. LLMs, prompt engineering, fine-tuning, RAG, embeddings.
• Strong Python programming with hands-on AI library experience.
• Cloud experience on Azure (Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Studio, Databricks) and AWS/GCP.
• Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, Synapse, REST APIs, microservices and event streaming.
• DevOps/MLOps capabilities: CI/CD, monitoring, logging, experiment tracking, Docker, Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end Agentic AI architecture frameworks using LLMs, multi-agent systems, and orchestration layers.
• Design autonomous AI agents for planning, reasoning, memory management, and tool usage.
• Establish reference architectures for cloud-native, scalable, secure enterprise AI apps.
• Integrate AI agents with data platforms, ERP, CRM, APIs, and event-driven systems.
