EVONA is partnering with a growing aerospace software and engineering company to hire a Senior Aerospace Software Engineer. The role is remote within the United States, with limited travel and full-time employment.

You will own a development workstream and act as a technical SME for space-mission and ground-system projects. Expect a 70% backend and 30% frontend mix, using Python, C/C++, Node.js, Angular or React.

Formación

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience delivering production-quality applications.
• Backend emphasis with frontend capability.
• Experience with Python and other languages.
• Space or satellite industry experience preferred.
• Ability to learn an existing system and own technical areas.
• Strong communication and collaboration with external teams.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain backend-heavy, full-stack aerospace applications.
• Take ownership of an existing program and grow into its development SME.
• Build reliable software supporting space-mission, ground-system, and operational workflows.
• Contribute across design, development, testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Work with internal engineers, prime contractors, partner developers, and technical customers.
• Translate operational and customer requirements into effective software solutions.
• Support internal development and additional government or commercial programs.
• Balance multiple projects and adapt as priorities evolve within a small team.
