Job summary

Prime Therapeutics is seeking a Senior Actuarial Analyst to provide complex actuarial and pricing analyses for our commercial, Medicare and Medicaid clients. You will develop innovative modeling concepts to support trend, benefit design and pricing decisions.

You will own and maintain financial models, lead data analyses, collaborate with Underwriters and senior leaders on pricing initiatives and RFPs, and mentor team members while upholding actuarial standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Math, Actuarial Science, Economics or Finance.
• 5 years of actuarial work experience, including 3 years in healthcare or PBM.
• Actuarial designation (ASA or FSA).
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa or residency sponsorship.
• Proficiency in Excel, SAS, SQL, or VBA is required.

Responsibilities

• Own, build, support, and maintain financial and complex actuarial models
• Lead, perform, and review data analyses, reporting, and projections
• Lead, perform, and review complex ad hoc pharmacy data mining and analyses to help investigate and answer challenging questions regarding actuarial data and concepts
• Collaborate with Underwriters, Prime teams, and senior leaders on pricing initiatives, data analyses, and the RFP process
• Present results and analyses to key stakeholders, senior management, and clients
• Mentor Actuarial team members to enhance actuarial knowledge
• Ensure work is consistent with actuarial standards
• Other duties as assigned
