Salas O’Brien in the United States is seeking an senior acoustics professional to join our expanding team. You will work on environmental and architectural acoustics across data centers, healthcare, education, and other projects, with a focus on urban/suburban settings.

The role involves leading projects, mentoring peers, designing reports, performing sound isolation calculations, reviewing drawings, and communicating with clients daily.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of acoustics design and measurements experience.
• Experience in environmental and architectural acoustics, field measurement.
• Ability to prepare acoustics reports and perform calculations for sound isolation and room acoustics.
• Proven project management/lead acoustics consultant capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead acoustics projects as Project Manager/Lead Consultant.
• Mentor and support other acoustics team members.
• Design and prepare acoustics reports and perform calculations.
• Review drawings and prepare schedules and specs.
• Interact with clients and design teams daily.
