SLR Consulting (US) is seeking a Principal Acoustics Consultant to lead complex acoustics projects across environmental, architectural, industrial, transportation, and underwater disciplines. You will serve as a senior technical resource and trusted advisor to clients while contributing to the growth of SLR's acoustics practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in acoustics, engineering, physics, mathematics, architecture, environmental science, or related field.
• 10+ years of professional experience in acoustics, noise, vibration, or related discipline.
• Demonstrated technical expertise in one or more areas of acoustics.
• Experience leading complex projects and managing deliverables, budgets, schedules, and client expectations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee complex acoustics projects across environmental, architectural, industrial, transportation, marine/water, or related disciplines.
• Mentor junior and mid-level acoustics professionals and provide technical guidance.
• Manage proposals, scopes of work, and communication with clients.
• Develop technical approaches, reports, and specifications; perform modeling and data analysis.
• Represent and collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, regulators, and stakeholders.
