Job summary

Mozilla.org is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to oversee the integrity, accuracy, and scalability of financial operations across Mozilla.org and related subsidiaries. This hands-on role covers multi-entity accounting, close processes, treasury, and audit coordination.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will manage inter-company transactions, ensure compliance with US GAAP, and partner with HR on payroll data.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressively responsible accounting experience across nonprofit and for-profit entities.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and complex accounting processes.
• Experience leading multi-entity accounting, treasury, and audits.

Responsibilities

• Own daily general ledger accounting for three entities with accurate journal entries and reconciliations.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closes and financial reporting.
• Coordinate inter-company accounting, shared expenses, and eliminations where applicable.
• Oversee treasury, cash flow forecasting, and banking relationships.
• Assist with annual budgeting, forecasts, and governance reporting.
