Job summary

Coinbase, Inc. is seeking an Accounting Manager for Lending Products to own end-to-end accounting for prime financing and brokerage. You will build processes, lead monthly closes, and partner across functions to assure accurate reporting as the business scales.

The role requires a CPA with 9+ years of experience in financing or lending within a public company, plus hands-on SOPs, automation, and strong NetSuite/FloQast/Google Suite skills.

Qualifications

• CPA designation with 9+ years of progressive accounting experience in fintech or financial services.
• Experience with financing, lending, or prime brokerage accounting at a publicly traded company, including SEC reporting.
• Proven track record building accounting processes and internal controls from the ground up, with SOPs and automation.
• Experience leading a team through monthly close cycles and quarterly/annual reporting with tight deadlines.
• Proficiency with NetSuite, FloQast, and Google Suite to streamline close and reporting workflows.
• Responsible use of generative AI with human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs.

Responsibilities

• Own the review and approval of monthly financing accounting entries, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
• Lead the monthly close, quarterly reporting, and annual audit processes.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to provide accounting insights on SEC regulations and lending practices.
• Drive the design and implementation of new controls for platform and brokerage accounting activities.
