Job summary

Live Nation Concerts is seeking a Sr. Accountant II to join our finance team in a remote role based in California.

This position blends transactional accounting with intermediate to advanced close responsibilities, requiring self-motivation and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. You will perform month-end close, prepare general ledger entries, assist with reporting packages, reconcile balance sheets, and support ad hoc requests from divisional management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required; MBA or CPA preferred.
• 5–7 years of comparable work experience in accounting.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and SOX compliance; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform month-end close tasks including general ledger entries and analysis.
• Review period close submissions and assist in month/quarter end reporting package consolidation.
• Conduct balance sheet reviews and bank reconciliations; resolve issues.
• Prepare divisional balance sheet schedules and account reconciliations.
• Reconcile General Ledger accounts and research discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies; support ad hoc requests.
• Assist with special projects as assigned.
