Holbrook & Manter, CPAs, a long‑standing Ohio-based firm, is seeking a Senior Accountant for our BSST. This role is remote on a day‑to‑day basis, with occasional in‑person client meetings and invited team events.

Ideal candidates are located in Ohio, preferably near Columbus, with access to our coworking space in the Columbus area. As a Senior Accountant on our BSST team, you will supervise staff accountants, manage full cycle accounting for a diverse client portfolio (healthcare focus), perform

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• 3–5 years of public accounting or Senior Accountant/Controller experience.
• CPA or CMA preferred.
• Healthcare accounting experience valued.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls.
• Experience with QuickBooks Online (ProAdvisor a plus).
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret financial statements.
• Experience with journal entries and general ledger maintenance.
• Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Oversee staff accountants' work and provide coaching and guidance.
• Manage full cycle accounting for a portfolio of clients, including month-end close and financial statements.
• Perform complex reconciliations including intercompany activity and revenue recognition.
• Prepare schedules, KPI dashboards, cash flow forecasts, and budget-to-actual analyses.
• Lead client advisory work including physician compensation reports and tax planning support.
• Optimize client accounting tech stacks using QuickBooks Online, Gusto, and Bill.com.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and internal controls; support audits.
• Identify process improvements and automation opportunities.
• Collaborate with client leadership on budgeting and forecasting.
