Job summary

Elevar Therapeutics, Inc. is seeking a Senior Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations in a remote-based role within the United States. You will ensure timely US GAAP reporting and work with Finance, Procurement, Commercial, Clinical, Regulatory, and external providers to support monthly close.

The role reports to the Assistant Controller and emphasizes internal controls, financial statement preparation, audits, and process improvements, including NetSuite ERP involvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• CPA certification or CPA candidate is required.
• 7-10 years of accounting-related experience.
• Pharmaceutical/biotech/healthcare or life sciences industry experience preferred.
• Public accounting experience is a plus.
• Experience with NetSuite ERP is highly preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to demonstrate Elevar’s core values and remote collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end close activities and financial reporting.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and prepare balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist with audits, SOX/internal controls documentation, and tax compliance.
• Maintain fixed asset register and depreciation schedules.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external service providers.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and ERP systems.
