Job summary

Carrington Mortgage Holdings seeks a Senior Accountant for the Title Division to perform GAAP-based accounting, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement prep, with focus on GL, balance sheet, and income statements. This remote role requires 3–5 years of experience, a BA/BS in Accounting or Finance, strong Excel and Oracle ERP skills, and the ability to work PST hours.

A competitive pay range of $36–$46 per hour plus annual bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, or Business or equivalent practical experience.
• Three to five years of general accounting/finance experience.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel and Oracle ERP knowledge preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily bank reconciliations and record bank activities in the general ledger.
• Prepare monthly journal entries and balance sheet account reconciliations.
• Responsible for internal and external wire transfers.
• Review and reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts at month end.
• Assist with quarterly and year-end audits and maintain internal controls.
• Interact with other departments to resolve issues.
