Job summary

SNZweig is seeking a Senior Accountant - OAS for its Outsourced Accounting Services group. You’ll build relationships with outsourcing clients, manage monthly close, and own your book of business while working remotely.

The role offers fully remote work across the U.S., with growth opportunities and exposure to Deltek Vision or Vantagepoint. Candidates should have 3+ years in full-cycle accounting, a Bachelor’s in accounting or finance, and the ability to handle confidential information.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• 3+ years of full-cycle accounting at or above staff level.
• Experience in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction firms.
• Proficiency with Deltek Vision and/or Vantagepoint.
• Ability to handle confidential information and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking; client service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide recurring daily/weekly transactional assistance to clients (A/P, A/R, credit card import, consultant invoices).
• Manage the full accounting cycle from data entry to financial statements.
• Perform month-end close including reconciliations for A/P, A/R, bank and credit cards.
• Prepare monthly financial statements.
• Assist clients with project lifecycle, including billing and reporting.
• Research data to reconcile discrepancies and identify root causes.
• Collaborate with clients and SNZweig CAS to improve processes and profitability.
