Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Senior Account Manager - Commercial Lines to manage an assigned book, ensure retention, and support new business from a remote setup with on-site support in Longwood, FL as needed. Lead the account management team in policy administration, renewals, and client communication.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in account management or 7+ years in insurance, active licensing, and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of account management experience, or 7+ years in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing; CIC or equivalent preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high degree of technical competence and industry expertise.
• Direct daily activities and workflow of the account management team.
• Handle customer service requests, policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
• Manage policy expirations and renewals.
• Conduct client research, prepare submissions, negotiate coverages, and present proposals.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
• Communicate workload status within the team.
• Deliver proactive service and respond quickly to requests.
• Stay updated on company policies and procedures.
• Seek continuous improvement and champion IOA values.
