Insurance Office of America (IOA) is seeking a Senior Account Manager for Commercial Lines. This role supports a remote-first work model across Eastern and Central time zones with on-site flexibility in Longwood, FL as needed.

You will manage an assigned book, retain clients, and coordinate day-to-day account activities. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in account management within insurance, strong client service, and licensing.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of account management experience in insurance.
• In-depth knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licenses; CIC or equivalent preferred.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication.
• MS Office proficiency.
• High School Diploma.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book; drive retention and support new business.
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service tasks.
• Resolve complex issues; ensure no errors or omissions.
• Serve as SME for the account management team.
• Maintain high technical competence and industry knowledge.
• Direct daily activities and workflow of the team.
• Handle customer service requests, policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
• Manage policy expirations and renewals.
• Conduct client research, prepare submissions, negotiate coverages, and present proposals.
• Monitor reports and collect delinquent balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and data accuracy.
• Monitor activity/suspense to ensure timely completion.
• Communicate workload status and issues with the team.
• Deliver proactive service and respond quickly to requests.
• Stay updated on company policies and pursue continuous improvement.
• Demonstrate integrity and leadership aligned with IOA values.
