Delightful is a remote-first, award-winning marketing and strategic communications agency seeking a Senior Account Manager to lead strategic communications for major clients. You will guide executive thought leadership, craft leadership content, and drive client growth while coordinating across account teams and internal partners.

The role demands 7+ years in executive communications, strong leadership, and fluency with AI-enabled content creation.

Qualifications

• 7+ years' experience in executive communications and thought leadership.
• Background in social media, PR and digital content strategy.
• Experience managing and inspiring internal teams; leadership needed.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of LinkedIn for executive thought leadership; familiarity with X, Facebook, Instagram.
• Ability to connect tactical work to broader business objectives.
• Proven track record of proactively growing client relationships.

Responsabilités

• Serve as senior point of contact for key clients and manage day-to-day accounts.
• Lead strategy development and execution of strategic communications for key clients; manage relationships and the account team end-to-end.
• Collaborate with internal and client teams for strong integration across the organization.
• Link tactical work to broader business goals and outcomes.
• Develop leadership brand messaging and co-create content for executives.
• Own account growth and support upsell, renewals and new business pitches.
• Demonstrate AI fluency by using AI agents for drafts with strategic context.
• Respect client data-handling and confidentiality when using AI tools.
• Stay current on AI tools and best practices to enhance team efficiency and content quality.
• Lead and coach a high-performing team and foster collaboration across departments.
