AT&C Revenue Services is seeking a detail-focused Insurance Verification Specialist to join our remote billing team. You’ll confirm coverage, verify eligibility, and support self-pay collections while delivering clear explanations to patients and ensuring accurate data in the PM/EHR system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years in healthcare revenue cycle preferred.
• Knowledge of payer contracts, EOBs, HIPAA regulations.
• Understanding of the full revenue cycle.

Responsibilities

• Verify coverage and eligibility before services.
• Post payments and document collection activities.
• Communicate with payers to resolve discrepancies.
• Explain coverage and out-of-pocket costs to patients.
• Obtain prior authorizations when needed.
• Prevent denials by flagging coverage issues.
• Enter verification results into the PM/EHR system.
• Coordinate with scheduling, billing, and clinical staff.
