Job summary

AssetWatch, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Security Engineer to own the day-to-day security program, engage in customer security conversations, and push SOC 2 Type 2 readiness using Vanta.

You will tackle endpoint protection, identity, vulnerability management, and vendor risk across a fast-moving team. In this remote-first role, you will support Entra ID, Intune baselines, CrowdStrike EDR, and security training while coordinating with Legal, Sales, and Customer Success to safeguard customer data

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a security engineering, security analyst, GRC, or IT security role.
• Direct experience responding to customer security questionnaires and supporting calls.
• Hands-on SOC 2 experience with Vanta or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with EDR tools and identity management concepts in a Microsoft/Entra ID environment.

Responsibilities

• Join customer/prospect calls as security SME to establish trust.
• Own responses to security questionnaires and RFP sections.
• Maintain pre-approved evidence library and reference architectures.
• Support security reviews and due diligence with Legal, Sales, and Customer Success.
• Triage and respond to requests within two business days.
