Job summary

AssetWatch is a remote‑first industrial condition monitoring company seeking a Security Engineer to own day‑to‑day security operations and customer conversations. You will drive SOC 2 Type 2 programs, manage responses to security questionnaires, and partner with Legal, Sales, and Success to support contracts and due diligence.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in security engineering, IT security, or related roles.
• Experience responding to customer security questionnaires and calls.
• Hands-on SOC 2 knowledge; familiarity with Vanta or similar platforms.
• Experience with endpoint protection and identity management in MS 365 environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer security conversations and establish trust in AssetWatch's posture.
• Own responses to security questionnaires, SIG, CAIQ, and RFP sections.
• Maintain pre-approved evidence library and reference architectures.
• Support security reviews in contract processes with Legal, Sales, and Success.
• Oversee vulnerability management and incident response activities.
