Job summary

NTT DATA's client is seeking a Security Risk Assessor to join their team in Canton, Massachusetts (US-MA), United States (US). This 1-year remote role focuses on providing advanced information security consultation, risk management, and remediation across applications, systems, and cloud environments.

You will identify process improvements, document risk, and communicate findings to business and technical leadership, while guiding security control enhancements and problem-solving.

Qualifications

• : Must have 5+ years across IT governance/operations, access control, incident response, data protection, and related areas
• : 5+ years of experience with risk assessment frameworks
• : Broad knowledge of information security concepts, best practices, and standards
• : Strong collaboration, facilitation, and negotiation skills
• : Familiarity with HIPAA Security Rule and regulatory requirements
• : Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced information security consultation for security, compliance, policy, risk management, and remediation
• Identify process improvements and develop plans to meet security best practices
• Ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information across devices, servers, and data repositories
• Conduct risk assessments on applications, systems, infrastructure, cloud environments, and third-party arrangements; document risk in reports for leadership
• Represent the Cyber & Information Security risk assessment services function in reviews of contracts, designs, and integration plans
• Create documentation in support of the risk assessment services team
• Self-directed and lead efforts to correct security controls and processes
• Explain complex technical issues to non-technical colleagues and executives
• Troubleshoot and independently solve problems as they arise
