Job summary

KnowBe4 is seeking an Information Security Platform Engineer to design and maintain internal tooling powering security operations. The role focuses on building Python-based applications, APIs, and automations within AWS, while improving developer experience for the InfoSec team.

Responsibilities include data ingestion pipelines, Elastic SIEM integration, and Terraform-based infrastructure provisioning. The candidate will contribute to secure SDLC practices and CI/CD workflows across the team.

Qualifications

• Experience in software development or platform engineering in AWS.
• Proficiency with Python or Bash; familiarity with Go or Rust.
• Experience with CI/CD workflows and Git in professional environments.
• Strong English communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain custom applications, APIs, command-line tools, and automations.
• Build and operate data ingestion pipelines into Elastic-based SIEM.
• Provision and scale AWS infrastructure using Terraform or similar IaC.
• Create reusable scaffolding, CLI utilities, and templates to boost developer efficiency.
• Maintain the codebase, manage CI/CD pipelines, and follow secure SDLC practices.
