Job summary

Jamf is seeking a Security Operations Engineer to join our remote team based in Poland. You will oversee SIEM tooling, secure configurations, and cloud hardening in collaboration with Operations.

You will manage the Web Application Firewall, conduct vulnerability scans, and support incident analysis, remediation, and security automation workflows.

The role requires Linux CLI experience and security fundamentals; Python or Go scripting and AWS exposure are a plus; bachelor’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year Linux CLI knowledge.
• Minimum 1 year IT security principles knowledge.
• Experience with AWS (preferred).
• Experience in Python or Go (preferred).
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• A combination of relevant experience and education may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Manage SIEM tools, configuration and related processes.
• Administer Web Application Firewall and mitigate DDoS.
• Perform firewall audits and document remediation.
• Oversee vulnerability scanning and external port scanning practices.
• Lead cloud hardening initiatives with cross-team collaboration.
• Conduct security incident analysis, response and remediation.
• Design and implement security automation workflows.
• Maintain technical documentation of processes and procedures.
• Perform Bash and Python scripting tasks.
• Maintain knowledge of JAMF Cloud Services and related products.
• Execute other duties and special projects as assigned.
