Job summary

DriveWealth seeks a Head of Security Engineering to own the security strategy and delivery across our product platform and corporate environment. You will build and lead the Security Engineering team, define its roadmap, and deliver improvements that protect customer data and support growth.

You’ll drive hands-on security across AWS and Kubernetes, secure trading infrastructure, and collaborate with Engineering, IT, Risk, and Compliance to mature controls and automate guardrails.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in security, software, or infrastructure engineering.
• 4+ years directly managing technical teams.
• Experience owning a security engineering roadmap and delivering improvements.
• Regulated financial services or trading infrastructure experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; security certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Strategy & Team Leadership: define multiyear security roadmap and lead a high-performing team.
• Product & Corporate Security: secure AWS/Kubernetes, strengthen API auth and data isolation.
• Infrastructure Security: implement least privilege, encryption, and guardrails for availability and latency.
• Security Operations Enablement: build monitoring, SIEM, SOAR, and telemetry pipelines.
• Compliance & Assurance: align with SEC/FINRA, GDPR, and governance requirements.
