Job summary

Blue Coding is seeking a software developer to join one of our US clients, a life insurance company, focusing on security vulnerability remediation. You will triage Snyk findings, fix safe ones quickly, and escalate deeper design issues.

Day-to-day work includes reviewing findings from Snyk Open Source, Code, Container, and IaC, upgrading dependencies in Ruby, Python, and .NET (including dependency upgrades and container updates), submitting clear pull requests with tests, and keeping Snyk and

• 3+ years of software development experience with Ruby.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Strong Git, relational databases, and testing skills.

Responsibilities

• Triage Snyk findings, differentiate real issues from false positives.
• Fix vulnerabilities in Ruby, Python, and .NET, including dependency upgrades and container updates.
• Submit clear pull requests, add tests, and keep Snyk and Jira status current.
