Job summary

Talantir is seeking an Security Compliance Project Manager to support the DHS security team from Atlanta, GA and remotely. The role focuses on security audits, scheduling, risk assessment, and performance tracking within a structured PMO framework.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of information security or compliance project leadership, familiarity with NIST 800-53 and IRS Pub 1075, and PMI/secure certifications. Remote options available in the US.

Qualifications

• 3 years in information security or compliance project leadership within last 3 years.
• Familiarity with NIST 800-53 and IRS Pub 1075 security controls.
• PM certification or equivalent credential.
• Hands-on experience with MS Project, Visio, SharePoint 2013 and O365.

Responsibilities

• Develop security audit portfolio workstreams with milestones and timeline.
• Direct audit projects and allocate tasks to team members.
• Coordinate with PMO, QA and governance to meet standards and quality objectives.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen security project performance and implement changes.
• Provide leadership, scheduling, and review of project efforts.
• Monitor milestones and adjust plans to avoid schedule jeopardy.
• Conduct final project review with sponsors and capture lessons learned.
